JANESVILLE, WI – June 16, 2014 SHINE Medical Technologies, Inc. (SHINE Medical), a Wisconsin-based company dedicated to being the world leader in safe, clean, affordable production of medical isotopes and cancer treatment elements, announced today that it will present an update on its progress in the development and planning for its Janesville medical isotope facility on Wednesday, June 18th at the Holiday Inn Express, 3100 Wellington Place in Janesville.The presentation is scheduled from 4:30-5:30 p.m. SHINE Medical invites anyone in the Janesville community interested in learning more about SHINE Medical, its products or the facility planned for Janesville to attend. There will be an opportunity at the end of the presentation for questions and answers.

SHINE Medical was founded to deploy a safe, cost-effective and environmentally friendly technology to produce medical isotopes, including the supply of moly-99 in the United States. In 2010, SHINE was selected as one of four commercial entities that the U.S. Department of Energy, National Nuclear Security Administration has established partnerships with to accelerate the establishment of a reliable U.S. domestic supply of moly-99 produced without the use of highly enriched uranium (HEU).
