Janesville, WI – June 12, 2015 SHINE Medical Technologies invites the Janesville community to an update on the development of its medical isotope facility. SHINE has made significant technical, strategic and regulatory progress since our last community meeting in December 2014. The meeting will take place on Wednesday, June 17th at the Holiday Inn Express, 3100 Wellington Place in Janesville. The presentation is scheduled from 4:30-5:30 p.m. There will be an opportunity at the end of the presentation for questions.
This meeting is part of an ongoing commitment made by SHINE to the community to hold semi-annual public meetings. The meetings are intended to keep the community informed as we make progress on our medical isotope production facility.
“We’ve made a tremendous amount of progress since our last meeting, and enjoy updating the community. We’re very grateful to have such strong support from Janesville and want to keep building on that relationship,” said Greg Piefer, founder and CEO of SHINE. SHINE was founded to deploy a safe, cost-effective and environmentally friendly technology to produce medical isotopes, including molybdenum-99, in the United States.
