JANESVILLE, WI – June 5, 2013 SHINE Medical Technologies, Inc. (SHINE Medical), a Wisconsin-based company dedicated to being the world leader in safe, clean, affordable production of medical isotopes and cancer treatment elements, announced today that it will present an update on its progress in the development and planning for its Janesville medical isotope facility on Thursday, June 13th at the Holiday Inn Express, 3100 Wellington Place in Janesville.The presentation is scheduled from 4:30-5:30 p.m. SHINE Medical invites anyone in the Janesville community interested in learning more about SHINE Medical, its products or the facility planned for Janesville to attend. There will be an opportunity at the end of the presentation for questions and answers.
This information session is one in a series of opportunities for SHINE Medical to share information with and respond to questions from the Janesville community. “Since our last meeting, the company has made great progress on many fronts, including the submission of the construction application to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission,” said Greg Piefer, Ph.D., founder and chief executive officer of SHINE Medical. This meeting is part of SHINE’s commitment to Janesville and will help keep the community informed on the progress toward building a manufacturing facility in Janesville that will provide molybdenum-99 (moly-99) and other medical isotopes for millions of people each year.
